Social Media Manager

Sidekick is passionate about the power of social media and the impact it can have on business growth and is currently looking for a motivated and creative part-time Social Media Manager to join the team and help elevate our clients’ online presence.
Job Description
As a Part-Time Social Media Manager at Sidekick Social, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing the social media presence of multiple client accounts. You’ll create engaging content, schedule posts, interact with followers, and track performance across various platforms. Your goal is to drive engagement, increase brand visibility, and ultimately help our clients achieve their social media marketing goals.
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) that aligns with client branding, voice, and goals.
  • Social Media Strategy: Work with clients to develop and implement customized social media strategies tailored to their business objectives and target audience.
  • Account Management: Manage day-to-day activities for client accounts on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
  • Scheduling & Posting: Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media channels using tools like Meta Business Suite.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions. Engage with followers in a professional manner to build community and brand loyalty.
  • Performance Analysis: Track KPIs for social media campaigns, including engagement rates and follower growth. Prepare monthly reports for clients.
  • Trends & Insights: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform changes, and best practices. Share insights with clients to ensure their strategies are current and effective.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the content, design, and strategy teams to ensure all content is on-brand and aligned with client goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years of experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) and best practices for each.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate fresh and engaging content ideas.
  • Ability to analyze social media performance data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple client accounts.
